Who We Are

Human Precision in the Age of Automation

Wells Electronics is the specialist engineering laboratory dedicated to the physical realities of high-end AV infrastructure. We repair what algorithms cannot.

Beyond The Algorithm

Why the "AI Age" Needs Human Engineering

We are living in an era defined by artificial intelligence. Smart projectors now utilise neural networks to dynamically upscale 1080p content to 4K, automatically adjust geometry for uneven walls, and predictively monitor network health across massive university fleets.

But software cannot fix hardware physics.

When a £50,000 3-Chip DLP cinema projector sustains transport shock, an algorithm cannot physically realign the microscopic dichroic mirrors inside the optical engine. When a laser array running at 20,000 lumens burns through an organic polarising filter, AI cannot replace the glass.

At Wells Electronics, we are the hands-on, highly skilled counterpart to the digital age. While AV systems get smarter on the inside, they remain physical machines subject to dust, heat, and mechanical wear. We provide the elite component-level surgery required to keep these modern marvels projecting flawlessly.

Our Philosophy

Our Engineering Pillars

We reject the modern "throwaway" culture of swapping expensive entire modules when a micro-component has failed. Our laboratory operates on three uncompromising standards.

Component-Level Supremacy

We delve deeper than standard AV integrators. Whether it is performing BGA rework on a mainboard to fix a single failed HDMI IC, or rebuilding a cavitating liquid-cooling pump, we fix the root cause. This saves enterprise clients thousands in unnecessary board replacements.

ISO-Certified Environments

Opening a high-lumen optical block in a standard workshop guarantees permanent dust damage. We perform all prism, DMD, and laser diode repairs within HEPA-filtered, ISO Class 6 Cleanrooms, ensuring no atmospheric contamination enters the light path.

Data-Driven Calibration

A repair is only successful if the visual output matches factory specifications. We utilize Minolta and Klein K-10A colorimetry to verify EOTF gamma tracking, colour temperature, and absolute chromaticity before any unit leaves our facility.
